UN Tourism Director for Europe, Cordula Wohlmuther met with Ms. Azada Huseynova, Deputy Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan , as part of the ongoing preparations for the 71st Meeting of the Commission for Europe, taking place from 4–6 June 2025 in Baku, Azerbaijan. 🇦🇿 During their meeting, they also explored opportunities to collaborate around the Silk Road, recognizing its unique potential to connect cultures and promote sustainable tourism across the region. The 71st CEU marks an important step in strengthening regional tourism cooperation and advancing sustainable development in the Europe region. We look forward to continued collaboration in the lead-up to the meeting.
